The DeleGate Project

Dear DeleGate users,

I inform you of the new release of DeleGate available as follows:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
DeleGate/9.2.1 (BETA) -- Access counters, Cookie encription, HTTP Keep-Alive on Windows

Access counter and statistics by DeleGate
-----------------------------------------
Basic functionality for access counters and real-time statistics
were built-into DeleGate/9.2.0. It is applied not only to access
count from clients but also to general counts including Referers,
errors, and more, in future. So far, the following counters have
 been implemented.

 * count for each requested URL on origin/proxy HTTP DeleGate
 * count for each Referer URL on origin/proxy HTTP DeleGate
 * count for each transferred file on origin FTP DeleGate
 * count for each error or rejection in SMTP DeleGate
 * count for each session of FTP, SMTP, NNTP DeleGate
 * count for each packet incoming to DNS DeleGate

This built-in counter is intended to be used to show real-time
statistics of DeleGate servers too. It will be convenient to be
able to get statistics in real-time and without keeping a large
 volume of log files.

Cookie encryption and filtering by DeleGate
-------------------------------------------
Encryption and filtering of HTTP Cookies is introduced in
DeleGate/9.2.0-pre6. This feature is intended to protect Cookies
 from beeing used by others even if it is stolen by some means;
for example by copying, by tapping, by Cross Site Scripting, or
by HTTP Header Smuggling. With this feature, an attribute in a
Cookie generated by a server is

 * stored in the encrypted format in clients
 * decryptable only by proxies (DeleGate) which knows the encryption key
 * forwarded only to the server which generated the Cookie
