Dear DeleGate users,

I inform you of the new release of DeleGate available as follows:
DeleGate/9.7.0 (STABLE) -- new stable version

  This is a new stable version of DeleGate focuses on performance improvement
based on threaded implementation, especially for the following aspects:

  - lighter SSL wrapper (lighter by about twice on Unix and tenth on Windows)
  - lighter and smoother pipe-lined gunzip/gzip encoding over HTTP
  - tolerable for execution under heavy load
  * lighter on Windows

You are recommended to try this version if you are using DeleGate under
situations as listed bellow:

  - using DeleGate as a reverse proxy
  - using DeleGate as a caching proxy
  - using DeleGate as a SSL wrapper or a SSL gateway
  - using DeleGate as a MITM proxy
  - using DeleGate for data filtering with CFI
  - using DeleGate for data compression (gzip) over HTTP
  - using DeleGate to compress large data over HTTP
  - using DeleGate under heavy load
  * using DeleGate on Windows

In the former versions, the performance of DeleGate with SSL and/or gzip
has been significantly low on Windows compared with the one on Unix mainly
due to the cost of "spawn".  In this release 9.7.0 in which thread replaced
"spawn" for SSL and gzip, the performance has been improved about ten times
to become almost comparable with that on Unix.  On Unix, the performance
improvement is about two times.  And on any platform, it has become tolerant
for heavy load of the host machine base on the automatic adjustment of
limitation for the number of parallel processes and sizes of socket buffers.
