Unfortunately I can't reproduce the problem on my Win32 machine.
It might be caused on the way of name resolution for "destination" host.
Could you test what will happen when you specify another destination
host? Could you show me more detailed log with RES_DEBUG=-1 option?
What will happen if you specify RESOLV=sys parameter?
