On 02/10/99(02:26) you Holger Krull <pbyaqbdyi-mykgh42s4btw.ml@delegate.org> wrote in <_A270@delegate-en.ML_>: |is there a way to disable the error Message everyone gets if the access to |a delegate http-server is denied? |A message "403 access denied" would be enough, but everyone receives a |large message with suggested changes. You can 'MOUNT' yourown error messages onto your DeleGate like this: MOUNT="/-/builtin/mssgs/403-forbidden.dhtml file:/tmp/403-forbidden.dhtml" The "dhtml" is basically HTML file with some extentions. More generally, the default messages are at "./src/builtin/mssgs/" directory of DeleGate's source tree, thus copy the whole directory into somewhere, for example where accessible as "http://server/delegate/mssgs/" then specify a MOUNT parameter like this: MOUNT="/-/builtin/mssgs/* http://server/delegate/mssgs/*" You can make your DeleGate 'download' your error messages from a FTP server too. As long as you are enabling cache of your DeleGate, those MOUNTed messages files are cached too, thus no significant overhead will be.
