[DeleGate-En] Problem with delegate x proxying on X-terminals
25 Feb 1999 08:10:17 GMT peiaqbdyi-mxhgu4zq633w.ml@delegate.org

  Version data : PROXY-telnet server DeleGate/5.8.3 on Linux 2.2.0

I am having a problem with the X-proxying functionality
  of the Delegate PROXY-telnet server.
It works fine for normal UNIX workstations , but it does not
  work on X-terminals.

Does Delegate perhaps have provisions that it checks before
setting up internal X-connection that the target machine
must be the same as the one where the Delegate proxy
telnet session was launched from ?

In that case the problem could be understandable since
in the case of an X-terminal this is not true, because it takes
an CDE session (e.g.) from a server which has another hostname
  then it's own...

I wonder whether anyone has ever had the same problem and solved
  it...
