I inform you of the new release of DeleGate available as follows:

DeleGate/9.5.3 (STABLE) -- minor fixes for JP char. conv., recv. via slow line

This release includes small fixes for Japanese character code conversion
and adjusting the default size of socket buffer for receive.
This version is a candidate of the last version of 9.5-STABLE.

- Enlarged the socket buffer to improve the speed of receiving via slow line
  The default size of socket buffer for receiving (SO_RCVBUF) has been 16KB
  since 13 years ago (in DeleGate/1.4.0) when 8KB was usual size of it in
  most OS.  Nowadays it is around 64KB in most OS and smaller buffer could
  cause slow-down of receiving seriously.  So the size is expanded to 64KB.

- Shortened the timeout for frozen server on a connection in Keep-Alive
  Here is a HTTP server in keep-alive which does not disconnect nor respond
  for long period.  So the timeout for waiting response from a server in
  keep-alive is shortened to 10 seconds by default.

- Fixed Japanese character code conversion
  - refined recognition of input-charcode of a text of mixed character codes
  - rewriting charset in META tag with CONTENT attr. before HTTP-EQUIV
