Hi, In message <_A3700@delegate-en.ML_> on 04/06/07(05:45:55) you Ed Vander Hoek <poehabdyi-pg3up53qmedw.ml@delegate.org> wrote: |On 2000-00-00 0:0X PM, Yutaka Sato wrote: |> The time-stamps in the logfile of DeleGate will be helpful to see where is |> the bottle-neck. | |To summarize the log file: | 150ms: initialize connection | 100ms: CFI_SYNC | 260ms: init SSLWAY | 250ms: actual relay | 110ms: shutdown connection |Total: 870ms Ooops, it seems too slow :) I also made similar observation on my machine and saw the latency about 500ms. In DeleGate/9.6.X, I'm re-implementing built-in filters including Gzip and SSL based on thread instread of process. I did it for Gzip in 9.6.0 and SSL is to be done in 9.6.1, but I did a very tentative implementation for STLS=fcl (or FCL=sslway) as a thread in 9.6.0-pre9 of which binaries are available at ftp://ftp.delegate.org/pub/DeleGate/alpha/bin-latest9/. The latency becomes about 100ms in the implementation.
