I inform you of the new release of DeleGate available as follows:

DeleGate/9.6.2 (BETA) -- minor fixes for FreeBSD, sftp/FTP gw., POP/HTTP gw.

 This release includes minor fixes for problems caused by the thread based
implementation of gzip and SSL filters.

- Fix for SEGV on FreeBSD in a HTTP proxy with threads for gzip encoding

  since 9.6.0 in which gzip/HTTP encoding was shifted to the thread-based
  implementation, it has rarely caused SEGV on SIGPIPE (caused by the
  premature disconnection by the client in receiving response) on FreeBSD.
  The SEGV was caused when a SIGPIPE is caused during pthread_create() is
  going and longjump() to undefined space from the signal handler of SIGPIPE.

- Fix for frozen DeleGate processes caught SIGTERM/SIGINT on FreeBSD

  since 9.6.0 by the same reason with the above problem.

- Fix for freezing in the SSL thread in the sftp/FTPS gatway

- Fix for freezing (with/without thread) in the POP/HTTPS gatway

- Lighter POP/NNTP/HTTP gateway

- Fix for frozen FTP FEAT command after SSL negotiation (or with FTPS)

- Fix for running under super-user right on Solaris8

- Fix for the elapsed time record in HTTP access log on 64bits machines
