I'm not sure how you can stop DeleGate to start automatically as a service. It should be installed as a service automatically which will be started automatically if you answer so when asked as below

Hi I am exactly using your example, but it does not work. I renamed the delegate directory, there are those warning messages: SMTPGATE not defined, etc. But the connection is attempted to a@b or x@y
